It's been a long year. We are still closed due to the pandemic. We are revising procedures and policies, reviewing pricing structures, and considering services offered as preparation for when it is safe to resume work. We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy.

To comply with the the stay at home order issued by the state today, effective tomorrow, we are closed. We will be cancelling all upcoming visits, and will not be scheduling any new visits, until such time as it is safe to do so, when the pandemic is past.

For all  those who use our facilities for supervised visitation, we felt it needful to let you know what steps we have taken to cooperate with the suggestions made by the Governor of Ohio and the State Health department:

  •  We never have visits where a hundred people meet (rather obvious, but needed stated).

  •  We have been scheduling visits with a half hour between them so that we have time to wipe off flat surfaces with disinfectant and wipe off doorknobs and: we are replacing our regular bathroom soap dispenser with anti-micro bacterial soap.

  •  We are requesting that if you or your children exhibit signs of the covid-19 virus (high fever, difficulty breathing, dry cough) that you cancel the visit and take the proper precautions of calling your doctor/healthcare provider and following their instructions.

  •  We ask that those who have multiple children visiting in rotation to keep the children waiting for their turn in the car unless they need to come in for a bathroom break or unless it is too cold out to do so.  We are limiting the time spent within the visit waiting room.

  •  We personally check our own temperatures every day before we come in even without other symptoms; simply as a precaution.

  •  We keep disinfectant spray and wipes in the visitation room, out of reach of the children but within reach of adults, and there is hand sanitizer at the outer desk and in the room itself if we need it.

  • Carpeted floors are vacuumed daily.  Stone tile floors are damp mopped with disinfectant daily before anyone comes.

  • We ask that if you bring toys, food, etc, you take them back with you afterwards.  We won't keep it until the next week but it will be tossed.

  • We will be removing all fabric toys from the room for now since sanitizing them between small children is not possible.  Our plastic or other toys should be wiped with disinfectant wipes if your children use them.

  • We ask that all persons, whether adult or child, take responsibility to wash their hands before coming back to the visit room.

As we all go through this period of instability with public health, be patient and kind with each other.  As we find from accepted sources (health department, medical personnel) of any other thing we need to institute into our regime, we will do so.  Thank you for your understanding; it is not our intention to close down unless such time as there is an official reason to do so because it is our considered belief that the children need to see their family; especially at such an unsettled time.  Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.
